Light Truck (C1) 3500 – 7500kg

Drivers wishing to become a professional Light Truck Driver must complete a range of theory and practical tests to obtain their professional driving license. This licence is required if you want to become an EMT or Ambulance Driver.

Steps to Getting the C1 Licence

Age Requirement – 18 years
Learner Permit Required? Yes for Category C
Days Tuition Provided – 6 Days a week

In order to obtain a learner permit for a Light Truck you must already possess a full licence for a car (category B) and be over 18 years of age.
