Drivers wishing to become a professional Truck or Bus Driver must complete a range of theory and practical tests to obtain their professional driving license.

Gill’s Driving School can assist you to become a professional truck driver by offering you a one to one Theory & Case Studies preparation class and the following day you can complete your Theory tests to obtain your licence.

Once you have passed your Theory tests and obtained your Category C learner permit you can start your lessons in our very modern fleet of Scania trucks.  We can book all your tests to make the process as smooth and easy as possible for you.

Steps to Getting the C Licence

C Licence Rigid Lorry – Vehicle Category C
Age Requirement – 18 years
Learner Permit Required? Yes for Category C
Days Tuition Provided – 6 Days a week

In order to obtain a learner permit for a Rigid lorry you must already possess a full licence for a car (category B) and be over 18 years of age.
